The new home page shows photos of the process that I go through to turn a “green” (wet) bowl, starting with a block of wood from a tree. Once turned into a thicker bowl, it is placed in a paper grocery bag (or a cardboard box for larger ones) with the wet shavings to dry for a minimum of 6 months. Then it is remounted on the lathe and turned to its final thickness.
